The older posts here in "ghost in the trees" are years of older work edited down and reformatted, and the newer posts are new pieces. i have borrowed and taken inspiration from many sources. i can't remember when i started to write this stuff down, but it was when i saw a friend of mine, Steve C, writing and drawing things in a sketchbook and writing letters to an ex girlfriend he pined formore often than she though about him by far. it hit me then that in my lonliness i was far from alone..

i felt i really connected with im in that sense: thinking about those people and thinking about items i didn't think anyone else bothered to think about anymore..
